What is it?
The Tor Vergata Library Search is a platform that allows you to search multiple resources provided and/or subscribed to by the University, specifically:
- Catalogues of all the University’s libraries;
- Electronic journals;
- Databases and digital collections;
- Open access resources available on the internet.
It is freely accessible online, but to access the subscription-based electronic resources, you must connect to the University network or authenticate via Proxy or VPN service.
How do I conduct a search?
You can perform a simple search by keyword (e.g., word in the title and/or author’s name) or an advanced search by combining multiple search fields. For detailed search strategies, please refer to the guide provided by the Engineering Area Library (currently available in Italian only)
How do I find a book?
Once you’ve identified the volume you’re interested in, check if the label “Disponibile in” (which means “available in”) is listed beneath the entry, followed by the name of the Library. The volumes available at the Engineering library will have a label similar to this:
By following the link, you can check whether the volume is available or currently on loan to another user. For information on the Library’s consultation and loan services, please refer to the relevant page.
For volumes available at the Civil Engineering Library or the Information Engineering Library, please check the consultation procedures on the dedicated page.
