Interlibrary loan and document delivery

In the event that for study reasons it is necessary to find a volume not owned by the University libraries, it is possible to reIf you need to find a volume that is not available in the University libraries for study purposes, you can request it through the interlibrary loan service (ILL). This service allows you to borrow items from other libraries within the national territory.quest it on loan from other libraries in the national territory through the interlibrary loan service (ILL).

This service is exclusively for university staff.
Requests may be made for a maximum of 2 volumes at a time.
Requests should be sent to the library’s email address, including the bibliographic references of the volume(s).

Regularly enrolled students can only access the service upon a formal request from a university professor. This request must be received via the professor’s institutional email and include specific details:

  • Student’s name; 
  • Bibliographic details of the requested book (title, author, publisher, year of publication).

Please be aware that the Metropolitan Interlibrary Loan (PIM) is still available for students. This service provides free access to interlibrary loans for works owned by the Libraries of the Castelli Romani System Consortium and the Istituzione Sistema Biblioteche di Roma Capitale. If you need to obtain an article from a journal or a section from a book that is not available in the Library for study purposes, you can request it from other libraries in the country using the document delivery service.

The service is reserved for academic staff.
Requests should be sent to the Library’s email address, indicating the title and author of the contribution, as well as the title of the journal and/or monograph in which it is contained
