
Access policies
The Library is open to the public on the ground floor of the Industrial Engineering building.
Access to the Library is granted to:
- Students, researchers, faculty members, and TAB staff of the University
- Students, researchers, and faculty members of the Universities of Roma La Sapienza, Roma Tre, and Foro Italico
- External users (not affiliated with the University or the above-mentioned institutions), at the Library’s discretion
All users may access the Library to study using books or personal devices. However, the use of computer workstations and 27-inch monitors is reserved for University and partner university users, as detailed on the specific information page.
University and partner university users can reserve a study space in the Library through the dedicated booking service.
If all study spaces are occupied, additional workstations are available at the Civil Engineering Library (Civil Engineering Building – ground floor).

Booking a seat
Students of the University can book a workstation using the Smart booking Uniroma2 application.
To reserve a seat in the library, users from partner universities must send an email.
Access to the system is granted using the same credentials as Delphi. Please note the following guidelines:
- Reservation requests must be received by the end of the previous day;
- Once a reservation is confirmed, the system will send an email with a booking code;
- The reserved seat is considered occupied for the entire duration of operating hours;
- Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before the service by using the CANCEL function in the confirmation email;
- f a user books a service but fails to use it, making unused bookings for three days within the same month will result in a 30-day suspension.
However, users can always visit the Library and access the consultation room if there are unreserved seats available!
